Let's first review quotations of scientists working on the COBE Satellite project that was summarized in April 1993,(LA Times).

This first satellite study of the back-ground microwave radiation thought to be from the initial explosion of the "beginning" of the

universe, (confirmed by additional satellite and various experiments), convinced most scientists that the "big bang" was the

correct model of the formation of the universe as opposed to the "steady-state" or "rebound" models that hypothesized that the

universe was more or less permanent or eternal in some form or another. Genesis !:1states the universe had a beginning..

        COBE project leader Dr. George Smoot, UC-Berkeley said,"It's like looking at God". Michael Turner,U.Chicago, ( home of

Fermi Lab and the worlds largest particle accelerator/until the Bern Hadron Collider is finshed) said, "We have found the Holy Grail of Cosmology."Science historian Michael Burnian said, "The scientific community now considers the hypothesis that God created the universe as being at it's most respected at any time this  century:" Renowned Cambridge U. author and mathematician Steven Hawkings, (the modern day Einstein) declared the COBE data as,"The greatest discovery of this century if not of all time". Hawkings has confirmed the big bang theory by confirming Einstein's findings that his Theory of Relativity shows that the universe had a precise as well as an incredibly powerful beginning. (Initially Einstein had attempted to prove the steady state model and unsuccessfully tried to alter his General Theory of Relativity). Hawkings book, A Brief History of Time.

      At that time one scientist from UC San Diego berated the "...rush to join  the !st Church of Christ of the Big Bang". calling for more confirmation. Another satellite launch, high-altitude balloons and the 1994 Nobel Prize winning radio telescope study of Dr. Taylor confirmed the COBE data and Einsteins theory to an even greater degree of accuracy.
